Semi-Permanent make-up is the art of implanting mineral pigments into the upper dermal layer of the skin using techniques akin to tattooing. The digital technology system and mineral pigments used in these procedures are state of the art and recognized as amongst the safest on the market today. This particular system is medically approved for use in hospitals and medical facilities for paramedical procedures such as scar revision.
The initial treatment requires two visits spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart. Semi-permanent make up as the name implies requires periodical maintenance to ensure the freshness of the look, but you can expect the enhancement to last anything from 9 months to 18 months before a re-touch treatment is required.
Semi-Permanent make-up not only perfects the individual look of the client but liberates her from the time consuming and often frustrating daily chore of applying make-up. The fact is we all feel a little more confident if we have at least the three basic facial features defined, these being the eyebrows, eyes and lips. The order of importance will of course vary from person to person depending on their perceived area of concern, however, I think most people would agree that the ‘eyebrows’ can make the most dramatic difference to the basic symmetry and enhancement of the face as a whole.
Eye liner and Eyelash enhancement treatments are incredibly effective at drawing attention to the eyes and can be as subtle or dramatic as required. The eyelash enhancement treatment is the implanting of pigment in-between the lashes along the lash line and is an amazing ‘eye opener’. The result is very similar to the effect that a ‘mascara wand’ leaves behind after application, except that it’s permanent.
Eye liner as the name implies is applied just above or below the lash line and can be fine or voluminous as the client requires. There are various colour combinations and effects that can be chosen to achieve the desired result and this treatment really does often prove quite a revelation in terms of the possibilities to the client.
Lip enhancements are a wonderful way of subtly replacing lost pigment especially to the outer border of the lips where it most commonly fades as we age. The technique of blending the pigment with the natural colour of the lip ensures no harsh out lines.
